HI. Just info for all of those out there. The seat in a Fiero I have been told is made by Reccaro. I have installed a set in my 74 and it is no problem to drive 500 miles and get out with no back ache. As a bonus, you even get a place for some speakers. They have tilt foreward and back. Makes getting the engine cover off easier. The bad point is they are taller and reduce headroom about an inch after the required modifications to mount in the car. Would be great with the lowered floor pans. Also you have to stoop low enough to put a GM part in a Pantera. Another seat to consider is that of a Porsche 914. They are very thin, and are actually more comfortable than the stock Pantera seat. Havent ever tried to transplant a pair though. A thought that I had was to try a pair from a late model Vette. They are power and look rather thin in the bottom. Don't know much about the actual size though, the Chevy dealer did not like when I pulled out a tape measure and started toward a Vette.
