Last year, Road & Track did a special issue featuring Lambos.  They had to

cut their test drive of the Miura short because the Webers hacked up and set

the air cleaners on fire, burning the underside of the roof.



I've seen at least two Panteras suffer Weber carb fires, and know of one more

(Byron Hight), which resulted in a ShadeTree Mechanic article on the subject

in a PCNC newsletter three or four years ago.



So it happens! :>)
