All, I run a *slightly* :) warmer motor, and the stock setup would not cut it - the (original) temp guage (of which I am sceptical) would read 215 degrees on the freeway on a cool day. I replaced the two stock fans with "Meriah" units (available from Gary Hall et al.) that I bought at the "Worlds Largest DeTomaso Swap" for a song, and added a third sucker fan. The two pushers are always on, and the third is controlled by a switch on the dash. I also had the stock radiator and all lines flushed and used green-stripe hose. I leave out the rear quarter windows for extra cooling, and dont use the trunk. Now the car runs at a cooler 205 when moving (if one can believe the temp guage), and when I was stuck in traffic at Vegas last year (it was 105 degrees F) and at Palm Springs (90s) it ran up to 225 degrees. Again, I am not sure what the real temp is, because when I shut the car down there was no overflow and no "gurgling" noises which would have indicated that the car was running hot. Incidentally, there were several Panteras around me that were dumping water out the overflow, so I guess I must be safe. Still, if money and time were not options, I'd go for a fancier radiator (I'd have to because the motor would be *slightly* more powerful again!). Shane Ingate in 80 degree San Diego
