Nobbie, if you really want to bait folks into flaming you, you'll get a much

better response touting Honda Del Sol's on the Miata list.  :-)



What'd you expect when you tell a bunch of DeTomaso enthousiasts that you

consider a Corvette and a Pantera equally attractive?  Ack!  If'n we wanted

to talk about a ETTEVROC we'd be on another list...

A '71 Pantera - just over the state border into AZ.  It's close to your

target price.  My notes from that page and corresponding with Jeff say:



no rust

originally blue - repainted black 5 yrs ago

mechanics: AC not working - otherwise v. good

mech mods: Holley carb, aftermkt intake manifold, Gotti wheels

(originals avail), bumpers powder-coated black

interior: v. good, but door panels need replacement, one power

window inoperable



I've not seen the car, I don't know the owner, add any other disclaimers you

can dream of.
