I have been using the hydraulic throwout bearing for a long time (although many would say that my car, Darth Vader, never runs), and my only problem is due to an oversize master cylinder that I had installed previously. I have actually had to put a pedal stop on the clutch pedal to prevent "overdriving" the throwout. I believe it will work perfectly when I put the correct size master cylinder in. At the Vegas tech sessions, a number of people claimed problems with blown seals (requiring pulling the transaxle to repair!), but these may have been early units. A number of changes have been made in the seals. I imagine you are going to receive a lot of pros and cons, but they do increase the throw and with less effort.
