Special thanks to Brian, Shane, Rick, Andy, Mike, and Judy for all the help

and words of encouragement. Today I test drove a 74 "L" that was pretty

much stock and I have just one thing to say.



Yowza!



I am sold. Forget the 'vette, or the Pork-chop, or the Deuce coupe! I'm

gettin' me a Pantera.



Me thinks I'll have to make a trek on down to San Diego and check a few

cars out.



The one I test drove today was offered at $23,995. I offered $20,000.

Mainly because the front bumper was off and the hydraulic cylinders were

missing. The AC wasn't working. The paint sucked. Drips and runs and

overspray all over the place.



Say? Is the ZF transaxle supposed to be black? And what kind of upper rear

shock tower brace is that made out of square tubing and a couple of inch

thick washers in the middle?



Anyway, the search is truly on with earnest. Keep yer eyes open fer me.
