Brock Wrote: Mike, who the heck wants a clutch that feels like a Honda? That has got to be the wimpiest feeling. Part of the whole package is a heavy clutch. Have you thought about an automatic? ...to which I respond: Brock, my Cobra has an extremely heavy clutch, despite the fact that it, too, has a hydraulic throwout bearing. It's heavy enough that the linkage is starting to show signs of serious wear, after only a few thousand miles. I've found that it's extremely difficult to drive smoothly with such a heavy clutch. There's nothing like a light, delicate feeling at the controls to enhance smoothness which leads to quickness. I'll admit, there's a certain macho appeal to tugging the Pantera's mondo metal gearshift linkage, but give me a light but very communicative feel at the pedals any day! Mike
