Hello Everyone, Even though I don't have what I consider really big feet, just size 9's, I was still having the problem of squeezing my foot between the brake pedal and the kick panel when I pressed the gas pedal. As has been said in other e-mails, there just wasn't a whole lot of room. Upon investigation, I discovered that the kick panel was not right up against the metal frame that runs down the center of the passenger compartment. I could push the panel up against the frame, but of course it wouldn't stay on its own. A simple fix was in order. I drilled a hold through the kick panel and the metal frame and then used a sheet metal screw to hold the panel to the frame. With this easy "fix", I gained at least another inch of foot room and the space problem was no more. Since no two Panteras are exactly alike, I realize this fix may not work on your Pantera. But it did work on my '72 (#2966) and it shouldn't take you more than a minute to find out if it will work on yours. It's definitely worth investigating. Bill Hohnhorst / "hohnhors@nosc.mil"
