As Rick in California pointed out, I stand corrected.  It evidently is not

illegal to drive here without shoes.  I check out my vehicle codes which go

back to 1974, and couldn't find any thing on this.



I don't know if it was changed earlier than 1974, or maybe I just dreamed

it.  Sorry guys and gals.
