All, Well, I'll rise to this challenge. Im not the most knowledgabe persone on this subject, but I'll get the ball rolling. 15" rims: I have a set of original 10"x15" Campy's on the back. Tyre choice for 15" rims is extremely limited these days with all manufacturers leaning towards larger rim sizes on all but bread-and-butter cars. I believe you have two choices of tire only; BFG Euro-T/A 305/50 and Pirelli P7 285/50. The latter tyre may be out of production, and impossible to find. The BFG is not the world's greatest tyre, being only V-rated. It has fairly soft sidewalls and a non-aggressive tread pattern. I can feel it squirm all of the place under power. On the other hand they are pretty hard and will last a long time, much longer than the gum-ball soft rubber of the modern high-perfromance tyre. 16" & 17" rims: Now the choice of tyres become a little larger, but your choice will depend upon the wheel offset. Wilkinson has some smashing ally repros of the original cast Campy in widths up to 15" I believe, and this will allow you to mount larger tyres, possibly up to 345/35. Check with Wilkinson first. I'm not sure what the max. size is for Gary Hall's wheels, but they may be smaller. Again, it's all in the offset. Shane Ingate in San Diego
