Hello All,

Although I didn't extensively modify my Panteras yet;  I did have some

success

putting those Holstrom port plates on my Boss 302 motor in a '68 Mustang and

shaved a couple of tenths off my 1/4 mile. A stock motor with a Crane solid

.570

.590 lift cam , around 250 dur. @.050 and the plates gave me a best run of

13.4

in the quarter. Since the Boss 302 pretty much uses the same heads, by

raising the floor of the exhaust the velocity improves. I think MPG in

colorado also makes a set

for both intake and exhaust.The plates sell for around $80.

This setup with a Doug Nash with the Mcloud angular contact hydralic

throw out

bearing was pretty much bullet proof.
