Thanks for all your advice, I ordered the master cylinder from PPC today. It was only $199. It does NOT replace the proportioning valve. Do I need to replace the proportioning valve too, or will the stock one be satisfactoey for street driving.(225-50, 295-50) If I need one, which one...and how much do they cost? I've been reading information on forming brake lines, seems pretty simple. But, what is the difference between single flares and double flares, and when do I use which? I think that the single flare is for stainless lines, which is what I am thinking about using. Are there different brake line diameters? If so, which size should I use? Are flares different sizes? The new master cylinder comes with detailed instructions, so maybe that will answer most of my questions. After reading all of your comments on brake fluid, I think I will use DOT 4. DOT 3 is in the system now. Brian
