That is a very good question.....I heard a nasty rumor around last

November that Pocono might not be happening from this year forward due

to many reasons.  I want to find out if anyone knows if this is true

or memorex???  Any details??  Thanks.

OUCH.  I was really looking forward to the track event, and Debra is very

disappointed too.  I know we did our best to convince the speedway that we

would rather arrive at 7AM and camp out until 7PM rather than have to cancel...

Don't they realize how motivated we are to work around their and the USAF

schedule?  For my wife and I, another airshow is a ho hum event, but a

gathering of Panteras around a brand new track... that Pavlovian response is

dripping down my chin.  I guess that comes from 15 years as a Navy F-14 pilot

and being "invited" to help put on NAS Oceana's annual airshow these past two

years.  Some of the love of watching others fly is gone, but having waited

patiently for 20 years to buy my Pantera makes watching these great cars

perform on the track well worth a hot day in the sun and trip to Las Vegas.



Yes, we are still coming for the comeraderie and will enjoy seeing more

Panteras in one place than were ever parked (fully assembled) in Modena at one

time, but some of the excitement will be gone.



Of course, being basically an optimist, I am now REALLY looking forward to

Pocono this year <vbg>!
