In "Cannonball Run II" (or whatever it was called) there is a silver Pantera among the waiting contestants just before the start, and it is one of the cars shown punching their timecards and launching (over a speed bump?!). It's a brief Pantera moment. I was vegging in front of the tube one day when it came on and I watched for a while to see what cars they would show. The opening sequence with the two young ladies in a Countach playing tag with the cops (and then getting picked up by a cowboy in a MB 300SL) is silly but nonetheless fun. -Andy 72 Pantera: power 91 Miata: quickness 96 A4Q: traction 84 RZ350: all the above
