What has worked for things such as MicroMachines, is to simply overwhelm them with requests. It's kind of like spamming them, except every request is from someone different. What we need first is an address, email or snail, that goes directly to the marketing folks at Bburago or Maisto, the other thing to do, in my opinion, would be to contact folks at DeTomaso and have them work on providing a licensing agreement ready for Bburago or Maisto. That's really half the battle, becuase if a license is not provided, the "toy-car" maker has no right and will not produce the product. I agree with the frustration. I was in toys-r-us the other day making a purchase for my neice. Looking down the isle for Pantera's such as those featured in the latest PI, I simply could NOT find anything. And they had a pretty large display of Maisto. I thought to myself it's a real shame, considering the Countach design has been around since '72, and the Pantera design has been around since 71 (correct me if I'm wrong), and simply put, they both turn heads just as hard. I'm done, 2 cents.
