I respond, this time to the group: I think having the clutch reasonably comfortable makes sense. I have been driving Alfas for years, older faster ones which have always received much of my engine fiddling for performance. The controls on the cars are so light that when I would get back into my Pantera after winter yuk, there would be that block of wood, oh that's the clutch down there feeling. A 73L, so the effort reducer made it workable, but the initial feeling I will always remember. I sold it when my business went sour. Anybody seen my mustang red #2775(?). Can't wait to have another. I would be intersted in building a 400+hp big brakes, widish tired stock looking beauty. Anybody seen a project around that a talented mechanical engineer type could get into? I've enjoyed reading all the cross talk. I listen and learn. All thanks for all the good information. Steve Fog ('74 Alfa Coupe and other trucks and stuff.)
