Hi Asa Jay... Well... you need to get a copy of the Pantera Buyer's Guide by Matt Stone and Rob de la Rive Box.. It's from Motorbooks International, ISBN 0-87938-524-3. The book is a nice Reader's Digest compilation of all the Pantera's with some other deTomaso machines thrown in for good measure. In a nuthshell, the Type "L" (L for Luxury) included U.S. bumpers... the front were rubber covered steel mounted on hydraulic cylinders. The rearbumper was black metal only... Also an outside fuel filler cap... seat belt warning light and buzzer... brake pad wear light... Goodyear Arriva 60 series tires... to mention a few obvious items. This is all from the above mentioned book starting on page 97. I also suggest you pick up a copy of "deTomaso The Man and the Machines" which is a very good read and goes into much greater detail regarding the entire deTomaso inventory. This is available from a few sources including P.I. ISBN 0-9629682-0-X By: Wallace Alfred Wyss Hey... the 7X is a very sharp looking Pantera... a one-off that has been on the For Sale block before. There are picturtes of it in both books! Good Luck with that one! Sorry you're missing Vegas!! CU Don M in Miami '72 Euro pushbutton #1158 W4WJ@aol.com
