Hi everyone--this forum has been incredibly useful. I think you all solve a lot of Pantera problems for all of the rest of us--especially problems that we sort of grin and bear with and put out of mind. Then we browse these postings and there is the answer to a long standing Pantera problem. Headlights: mine simply quit working- I can see that the lights are in fact on--they just don't come up at all any more. The knurled black knob near the drivers side front doesn't seem to do anything- maybe I'm too weak to turn it-I'm 5'11" 230 lbs but I can't turn the knob! I bought a new relay from Gary Hall and installed it--no change. Where should I start to look? Headlight motor? wiring? Fuses all appear to be OK and the lights are on. Any ideas fellow Pantera owners? P.S. I found the "fans" dialogue especially helpful. In addition someone noted that pure antifreeze had less ability than the proper antifreeze-water mix- how correct he was!! I seemed to have very low oil pressure in my wife's 91 Mustang GT 5.0 convert when the note appeared. I had simply added antifreeze when the "low coolant" idiot light appeared---oil pressure stayed low. Last time I added water only- overfow tank was close to empty--this cured the low oil pressure problem! It is now back where it should be! So thanks to whoever noted this- I'm fairly certain it was on Shawn's wgate page. to all: my thanks-- especially Shawn Ingate and Mike Drew--great help and great answers. I have a teaching colleague who is a Vette fan--I printed out some of the letters to Nobbie--especially "Buy a Vette and see the back end of a lot of Panteras"!! Loved it- still waiting for his answer! Regards Kirk Bailey 71 Red #1907 Toronto, Canada
