If you do not hear the relay click when the switch is pressed, then it is possible that the switch itself is bad. If the relay clicks when the switch is pressed, then do you hear the electric motor run on the lights. If yoiu do then the gears are stripped. If you do not hear the motor run, then check either the switches on the gear actuator or the motor. Using a meter, check the motor leads with the switch on. Should have 12 volts. If not, then check teh switch and wiring. If you have 12 volts at the motor, then the moror is bad. The black knob will manually lift the lights, but it has to be turned like 50 to 100 turns to raise them. It is enough to make you want to change your moror quickly.
