Another possiblity... I believe the headlight motor/gear assembly is the same as for the = windows (I've never had mine out, but it looks the same). Therefore is = has the same plastic gear which is subject to breakage in a manner which = jams the mechanism. Getting a brass gear from Hall and replacing the = broken plastic gear should do the trick if this is the problem. Craig Cline Oceanside Ca. If the relay clicks when the = switch is pressed, then do you hear the electric motor run on the lights. If = yoiu do then the gears are stripped. If you do not hear the motor run, then check either the switches on the gear actuator or the motor. Using a = meter, check the motor leads with the switch on. Should have 12 volts. If not, then check teh switch and wiring. If you have 12 volts at the motor, = then the moror is bad. The black knob will manually lift the lights, but it has to be turned = like 50 to 100 turns to raise them. It is enough to make you want to change = your moror quickly.
