Hi from 'down-under', thanks for all the continuing good info on Panteras.



Some of you may remember me asking about mirrors a mnonth or so ago. I had

several messages back suggesting suitable mirrors - some up to $400 or4 more!



Being a cheap Kiwi, I decided to look around some different sources and

ended up this afternoon at a Honda motorcycle shop where I found a set of

testarossa-like mirrors, for $45 the pair! If anyone is interested they are

off a Honda CBR1000 (which I believe is almost as fast as a Pantera!). I

haven't tried them on the car yet, but I think I'll probably have to make up

a small plastic mounting block to ensure it sits at the right angle for the

car as the CBR fairing is fairly upright. I'll let you guys know how it

works out.



BTW, I have been looking around recently for Aussie blocks and heads. I

haven't priced heads yet, but the bare blocks, in good second-hand

condition, seem to be around US$500. Once I have established firmer prices I

will post them to this list - if anyone is interested I will try to source

them for you.
