After reading the last 3 months worth of posts I feel as though I know many

of you personally. Great reading, we can all share in the thrill of each

other's victory and the agony of our defeats. Kind of fun to listen to

people like Nobbie discover the Marque, go through the search, buy a

Pantera, and experience it. Because Panteras lend themselves to modification

so easily, it is great to have a forum like this to hear what others have

done, either successfully or not quite so.



Question - does anyone live in the Chicago area that would be available to

help me look over a 1972 pre-L Pantera this coming Saturday, the 26th? I'll

be flying in from South Dakota (I'm just here for another 4 months before I

move to Wisconsin) and wouldn't mind having an experienced eye look at it as

well. It has been appraised by Collector's Choice, if you guys are on-line...



Otherwise, one more week of lost sleep as I maybe get closer to having that

Pantera of my own so I can write about the experience as well.
