I have no experience with this system. I thought I'd put in my 2 cents. For almost 10 years now, I've run a stock DuraSpark II system in my '71 Mach I. I picked it up at a local Ford recycler. For less than 50 bucks I got the distributor, ignition module, coil, cap, wires etc. I've of course replaced the cap, rotor and wires, but you know, I've never had to replace a set of points in the past 10 years. : ) I've also never had an ignition problem unless you count the time I threw an alternator belt, but that's another story. It's simple, inexpensive and, if you still have a Ford engine, it's practically a "drop-in" solution. Asa Jay Asa Jay Laughton General Engineering Specialist Itron, Inc. 2818 N. Sullivan Rd.
