I happened to spot Pantera # 7132 for sale today. The 1974 Cat advertises under 15,000 orig miles and still wears the worn out Arivas on fine looking Campys. It looks like a fine specimen of an fairly well maintained machine, all original stock except that the stock air cleaner is missing. Orig red paint in good condition, a couple of scratches through the paint. I didn't see any telltale signs of damage anywhere. Undercarriage looks XLNT as does the front chin, front luggage compartment, interior, rear bucket and top of engine. All external emblems remain on the car sans the front grill emblem. No decals on sides of car. It has an early dash in good shape, console is in XLNT shape as is headliner. Door panels look good though have HUGE square speakers installed. I saw no upgrades or aftermarket items on the car other than side door mirrors, air cleaner, a stereo ( with booster in the front luggage compartment) and a digital clock mounted on the 1st Series console in place of the Air Conditioning Thermostat Switch. The front "L" bumper was pretty wavy. The rear taillight lens ( early with amber ) had a chip out of it at the screw. It does look "low miles" though there are about a dozen door dents throughout. This Cat will definitely be proud with a new coat of paint. I didn't get a look under the bucket (sorry), Eugene at Cardiff Classics in Encinitas CA just put it up for sale @ $25K. He will smog it ....hopefully the very last time this cat has to endure that bureaucratic scam. Hope this helps those of you in search of your formidable feline. 619 632-5555 FAX 619 632-5519
