Dave, For what its worth, my view is that there is a difference between postings which alert readers to commercial services which might otherwise be unknown to them, or are a response to a specific enquiry, and repeated, unsolicited advertising. I also think that customer testimonials and referrals are useful and appropriate and don't personally feel like the list has a problem with 'junk' mail. It WOULD be useful to have a FAQ available which listed known suppliers of potential interest to the group, possibly including some vendor supplied info ...
