Hi ALL: I would like to praise this list and its contributors, I have just finished reading the massive amount of text written in the month of April. I am a new Pantera owner. I bought #9270 last August. It is a white Euro GTS. Since I am unfortunate enough to live in a climate that experiences winter, I took advantage of this time to deal with the few problems with my car. In the process I have come up with a few questions. 1. Some of the lobes on my original cam were shot. In the process of replacing the cam and the bearings, I have had trouble with the #2 and #3 bearing being too small when installed in the block. Of course most of you have standard Cleveland born blocks. Mine is from Down-Under. I have tried two different sets of cam bearings but had the same problem with both. They fit nicely before being pressed into the block, but very badly (0.005" interference) when installed. Any ideas? 2. I've been reading the thread on gas lines. I need to replace some of mine anyway, due to a carburatetor change. I have some aeroequip lines but I don't know how to tell which size fittings I have. I am guessing that if I measure some part of the fitting it will give me a metric number that matches the AN-? number in the catalogs. Can anyone help me out here? I am sure I will have many more questions, particularily as it gets nicer here and my desire to drive grows. Thanks Paul Timko
