I built a system for my 377 stroker Cleveland. I use 4 2 1/2" Super Traps with 4 in. disks. I have a total of 10 disks in each muffler. I feel very little difference when I remove the disks. The only gain I feel is from 6500 rpm and up when the engine really has to breath and exhaust alot of air.The nice part about the system is that you can make it very quiet or very loud. With 10 disks the sound is very nice and not loud at all. My Sunbeam Tiger with 2 1/2" flowmasters is way louder. The only draw back to the system is the cost. To do a very professional job it will cost you $900. The Super Traps will cost you $109 a piece from Summit Racing and a professional Mandrel bent tube exhaust system from the header flange back will cost you $300 to $400 and then tack on ceramic coating.
