All, Jack referred to this car as being Lime Green, which isn't really true; it's actually a much lighter shade, called either Sea Foam Green or Medium Green (I can't remember which), it was a factory color on '71 Panteras only. When John used to be a Nor-Cal member, I used to refer to the color as 'Hideous Wehrheim Green', but I was amazed to discover one day that the color had actually grown on me, and now I find I REALLY like it. It's a very nice color indeed. John's car is one of the better ones out there; he's done a lot of careful, clever and subtle modifications to the suspension (springs, bushings, swaybars etc.) to optimize handling, and has pumped up the motor just enough so it's still very streetable, but has lots of power and torque. The car outwardly appears to be completely stock (8- and 10-inch Campys) Anyone shopping for a really nice Pantera with a well-known pedigree should strongly consider this car. However, be advised that John is extremely proud of it, and it's likely to be priced accordingly... I haven't seen or spoken to him in years, but from what I understand, he's cleared out the Tiger and Bobsey and now has an early '60's Lola vintage racer, which is what's turning him on these days. There's nobody out there to share the Pantera with (no club or fellowship immediately available) so he's lost interest in it. Mike
