Regarding Shane's oil pressure fluctuation. My first suspect would be the electrical sender screwed into the block (or elsewhere). I have had several fail in various Ford products over the years, and fluctuation was part of the failure. I suggest splicing in an inexpensive mechanical gauge as a double-check. Replacing with a mechanical is an option, but hardly worth the trouble. I also prefer the occasional inaccuracy and electrical failure to a broken capillary to a mechanical gauge, which is especially likely in the convoluted routiing that may be required in your car.
