It's nice to know someone actually tested the earmuff theory.  I saw pictures

of Joe Moores car once and it seemed to me he had the best idea of all.  If I

remember right, he used a snorkle type cowl/ram air induction unit that

raised vertically from the carb to the roof line and spread out about 2

inches tall above the roof and 12 inches or so wide?   I guess this would

have to be an open element type setup similar to the  Shelby GT's with

Ram-Air.  This setup limits rear visability, but if someone designed one of

these with side drafting to both sides of the deck lid and roof line? Maybe?

Cool air off the roof would be very nice indeed.
