I have an oil fluctuation problem that I could use some help on. Uner heavy breaking my oil pressue drops to almost zilch. Probably less than 10 psi. It then goes right back up. I have Lance's 10 quart road-racing pan complete with trap doors, new gauges and senders (electrical), and 70 psi normally. I'm using a high flow and pressure oil pump and I'm getting oil pressure from the front of the engine by the oil filter with one of Hall's extenders for the sender. One more note. If I leave it in gear and brake it does it, and if I put in the clutch and brake it does it, and if I put in the clutch and keep the RPM's up and brake hard (this is a bitch to do) it does it. Sounds like the pickup is going dry for a moment but I can't imagen this happening with 10 quarts of oil. Is this possibly due to Halls sender extension or from taking oil pressure from the front of the block? Help! I haven't changed the sender back to the back of the block and checked the pressure there. I guess unless someone comes up with a miracle fix that will be next on the list.
