Subject: Northern Fab. Fords Forever

To all,

I was contacted last evening by Niel from the Nor Cal Galaxy Club =

regarding an event that they have been trying to do for some years now =

but have failed for one reason or another.

Background: So Cal for the past 12 years has had the event, Fabulous =

Fords Forever, for Ford owners of all types, to congregate, show off, or =

just plain show up to check out cars. This club has taken a lead in =

trying to bring the same sort of event to Northern CA where there are =

many people with cars that would love to do the same thing, only don't =

want to drive the I-5 thing to LA for one reason or another....

Well, it would seem that our day has come! Sept. 14th is a day to =

block out on your calendars!!!  Location is the Great Mall in Milpitas, =

built on the very site that housed the Ford Assembly plant. (At least two =

of my cars were built there!)  The mall people are very excited about =

this and are willing to work with the car clubs to make it a great day! =

I'm sure that we'll be looking for Ford sponsorship as well as for =

celebrities to be on hand too.

More info will be comming. They have contacted about 100 Ford related =

clubs and with your help will probably get more!  In the mean time, if =

you know of any more clubs in the Nor Cal and points beyond areas that =

might be interested in attending, give them the info or e-mail me with a =

club contact and I'll be sure to relay it onwards!!

Don't be shy. If we get duplicates, all the better!  Forwards any =

ideas, suggestions to me and I'll work with these other clubs to try and =

make this happen. The dream would be to have this be a yearly event with =

up to a thousand cars present! Fab. Fords this year registered 1700 cars =

in advance and more at the gate!!!
