Subject: More on blankets

Hi everybody,



I got the proof for the blankets today.   The cars look awesome!!



I left a lot up to the discretion of the artists, and they did a terrific

job.  At the top of the blanket is a side view of a red pushbutton car.

 Below that is a side view (opposite direction) of a silverish GT5-S.  Below

that is a front/side view of a yellow L Model.  Under that is a front/side

view of a blue GT5.  The Pantera at the bottom of the blanket is a front/side

view of a maroon group 4 race car.



The direction each car is facing alternates with each car.  The detail is

terrific.  7 different colors of yarn will be used.  They are natural, black,

plastic red, baylor gold, baylor green, cranberry, and Carolina blue.  When

woven together they create many different shades of each color.



I'm not satisfied with the background though... each car has its own

background, i.e. grass and sky, or pavement and sky.  I have already asked

them to change it to a more continuous background.  The proof seems too chopy

with all of the different backgrounds, although very colorful.



I am going to try and have the proof scanned tonight.  This way I can email

it to those of you who can download graphics.  Hopefully, somebody with a web

page will let me post it.  Then everyone will be able to see it.



The proof is only a computer image and obviously the blankets will look even

better.
