I am in the process of rerouting the trunk wiring harness to clean up = the engine compartment. I have rethread the tail light wiring through = the inside panel that houses the tail light assemblies. I am planning on = drilling a hole inside this panel to snake the wiring harness into the = right wheel well housing. The hole would be just behind and to the right = of the right tail light assembly. I am currently planning on running = this wire in the recess that exists above the box member that provides = support for the body in the wheel well. I gave some thought to running = the wiring inside this box member but I think that this would create a = weakness in the cars structure. I am seeking advice on the best method to secure the wiring harness = inside the wheel well. I am also seeking advice on what covering, if = any, should be used to protect the wiring harness inside the wheel well. Thanks...
