Several people asked me how Junior's recovery was going. Here's the lastest update. I spoke to him tonight. He's doing great. Very positive, very can-do. If you already know Junior, that ain't gonna surprise you at all. The guy looks like the Bionic Man right now cause he's wired and bolted together but his recovery is impressive. He has one more scheduled recovery on his back and the prognosis looks excellent His leg is recovering. He's already going (hobbling) into work every day and his earlier back surgery was successful and he is expected to make a full and complete recovery. Which begs to ask, is he coming back? Damn straight! Currently, he's planning to salvage and rebuild his Pantera chassis and re-install the all-steel stock Pantera body!! He indicated he's retiring from the Silverstate event and is gonna focus in the future on setting some land speed records at Bonneville and El Mirage with his new (old) Pantera (look out Mike Cook!). Stay tuned for future developments. Mad Dog Antenucci P.S. I stand by my earlier challenge. We need your participation and involvement at Silverstate if people are gonna remember what Pantera's look like running down the road at speed. . .The next event is in September. Let's make sure the Silverstate event doesn't turn into a "Corvette-only" event. As Junior told me in the past, "we're lucky if one Pantera shows up!" ==============================================================================
