Hi All... Have a small fuel leak in the rear section of my Holley 750 double pumper. The problem is the interface between the fuel line (metal assembly) and the input port. The first time I fixed it I used Loctite ThreadBlockerBlue #242 on the threads of the fuel line assembly and VOILA no more problem. Now the problem has returned. It's a slow leak... but hey... who wants raw gas discoloring your nice shiny Edelbrock Performer manifold (Vic would not approve) not to mention the smell and oh yes... how about the fire hazard!!! So, it appears this Loctite stuff is just a temp fix. Needless to say... a temp fix is just as good as no fix... unless you're stuck on a desert road etc...Anyone got a good idea on this? Is duPont Teflon tape a working solution in a gasoline environment, or will it dissolve? How about the old plumbers trick of using small string?? TNX for any input...
