OK, I may be entering the arena of religion here, but I'm brave so here goes... In preperation for Pocono and other track events, I've been adding all sorts of go-fast goodies to the kitty... wheels (big), tires (big), brakes (big... see a trend develpoing here?), adjustable swaybars, etc. My mechanic suggested that I also get one of the aftermarket wheel house braces to replace my stock one. He thinks it will improve the stiffness of the chassis. I thought they were primarily useful (because they're adjustable) when you're suffering wheel house sag and the attendant camber changes. So what do ye of track experience say? Are the aftermarket braces a good pre-emptive move or just a corrective procedure for sagging thighs? Also, what sort of alignments have folks used at the track? I run a pretty radical alignment on my Miata for autox and track time, but don't yet have the competition experience with the Pantera to come up with an alignment for it. As soon as we get it all buttoned back together, I intend on doing a couple of autocrosses to get it sorted, but it'd be nice to have a head start. -Andy 72 Pantera: power 91 Miata: quickness 96 A4Q: traction 84 RZ350: all the above ==============================================================================
