All, I do'nt have an original tool kit with my car, so I am assembling a kit for my travelling. The requirements are clearly to minimize weight and space, yet provide enough tools and spares to be able to span a wide-range of repairs by the side of the road. So far my list includes: baling wire, electrical wire, fuses 200-mph tape knife 8" crescent (adjustable) wrench 12mm spanner 13, 15, 17mm sockets and drive multimeter wiring diagram can of inflate-a-tyre (no spare carried) air pressure guage lugnut socket & drive small & large flat-head screwdriver phillips head screwdriver 6" vice grips Whew! That is a lot already! I've been thinking about adding a Leatherman and deleting some of the screwdrivers. Any other ideas out there gang? I usually carry water in the cabin. When this all your advice is is, I will probably add it to the web page. Thanks in advance, Shane Ingate in San Diego ==============================================================================
