FYA< Was scrounging around in this BB, mentioned previously by a subscriber. = A Do it Yourself Fuel Injection site that goes down to the nitty of = selecting your IC chips and solenoid driver chips.... http://efi332.eng.ohio-state.edu/diy_efi There was a list of articles and references. Among them was this: HS3000 -- Complete specification of OBD-II Describes an experiment performed by the EPA wherein they discover that O2 sensors in fact do not sense O2 until they reach 800 degrees C. Until that point they measure H and CO. SO, what do we have here!? I'm sure the EPA sent out a message right = away to all the smog techs out there to ignore any and all O2 readings = due to this.....? Until your engine gets reaally hot! Aaack! Be happy our DeTomasos are smog equipment lean! Steve ==============================================================================
