while on the subject of timing,.. I found it very convenient to place

a mark on the outer edge of the flywheel and a corresponding mark on 

the transaxle case by the "inspection" window once you find TDC. It's

so much easier to check/set timing now using a dial back timing light.

No need to remove bulkhead and the flywheel REALLY shouldn't slip like

that old harmonic balancer.
