For Jim Firanzi; You had asked about what plugs people are using, and are any of us using colder plugs. About a week ago Mad Dog replied that he uses Autolite 2594. I meant to respond earlier, but forgot: when I went out to the car to look up in my logbook for my plugs, I got myself sidetracked doing something else to the car......I suppose that happens to others as well. Anyway, I have Motorcraft ASF42C plugs in the car, on the recommendation of a mechanic I work with who drag races his mustang with a Cleveland. I do not have a clue how this set of Motorcrafts compares with Mad Dog's Autolites regarding heat ranges, or even how they compare to what is 'normal' heat range for the average Pantera, if there is such a thing as an average Pantera. I used to have Champions in my Pantera, but the mechanic thinks Champions are poor plugs and Clevelands like Motorcraft...........I did not think it mattered much, but I thought I'd try the Motorcraft ones. Now that I think about it, the mechanic's day job is working on diesel trucks -- ah, not much spark plug work there......... Take the above for what it's worth; as you know, there are likely dozens of other opinions, too. chris bupp/whatcop ==============================================================================
