Hi all,



I've received additiona information about 1734 thanks to some of the list

members.  Thank you all for the info.  Based on this info I have managed to

ask the owner some additional questions and he has been kind enough to answer.



He purchased the car with his father in 1984 at Las Vegas.  His father died

in 1989 and he became a members of  POCA in 1993, however he never renewed.



The car was originally Logo Blue and has been re-painted since 93 because

the color was fading and there were some other dings that were smoothed

out.  According to the owner he can't see any rust anywhere.  He also says

he took it to Hall Pantera and received a clean bill of health; they said

it was a solid car.  I think I'll try calling them later and see if they

remember it.



He is asking 19K at this point and will be taking the car to LA in a couple

of weeks.  He says he has had a lot of interest from the LA area, but no

one is willing to drive to Bullhead City AZ to look at the car.  He thinks

he can sell the car much quicker if he takes it to the market, and I don't

doubt that with the current price.



My quandry?  I'm even further away in Spokane, WA.  Not being one to rush

into a purchase, I was wondering if there is anyone on this list who is

really close to Bullhead AZ and would be able to take a serious look at the

car for me.  I've thought of calling some POCA members in the area, but

thought I would try the list members first, before spending long distance

dollars.  Any and all help is appreciated.  If my employer needed to send

back to Vegas in the next week or so, I would have a great opportunity to

see the car first hand, but I don't see than happening.  If I could have

him hold it until August, I can probably get a cheap plane ticket, but

again, I'd like to know a little more about the car from a 3rd party.
