Yo People, Just to add to the filter options. . . I've had three different remote filters in the past on different street and competition cars. Both single and duel remote. I also had the Racor Tattle-Tale system that Gary Hall marketed for awhile and I believe Pegasus Racing still sells, as well as the Canton/Mecca units. I had problems with the Racor unit leaking. Of all the remote filters I've used in the last 15 years I like the "System-One" Filter the best. Tests show it flows equivilant to a Fram HP 4 (which is far superior to most stock and Ford filters) and does not use a bypass so all your oil gets filtered all the time. It's a remote mounted high-flow (stainless filter element) unit that can be mounted remote and plumbed with or with out a engine oil cooler which I've said before and I'll say again I think is "not" an option if your gonna drive hard and/or put your car on the track - even for five minutes. Having said that. . .I mounted this System One in the engine compartment (does not interfere with luggage tray) so at the track I can easily spin the canister top off and pull the element out to inspect the filter. Drop it back in and I'm done. Takes about a half minute or less to check. When I change the oil it takes about a minute to wash the screen filter/element out and replace. No more filters - no mess - no more hassle! As usual I didn't keep the specs on it but if anyone is interested I believe Jegs Auto Parts still sells it. Their number is 1-800-345-4545. Make sure you get the long filter canister and not the short. You'll also need remote mounts and plumbing. I just found a direct number for System One as well. It's from 1990,so I'm not sure if it's still good. They were in Visalia, California. Their number is (was) (209) 732-1955.
