It is time to sell off some (not all) of my toys. 1. 1972 Lincoln Mk IV. This car is in beautiful condition, and comes with another "parts" car (also with title). The original owner had the car repainted a Cadillac gold (instead of the original "Lime" gold) and installed a padded white top by the dealer before he took delivery, so it is not original-original. Asking $6,000. 2. 1974 Lola T324 Formula Super Vee. The car is powered by a highly modified Porsche 4 cylinder engine developing over 150 H.P. I drove this car for a number of years at the Pantera events at Riverside Raceway. Extremely fast! Some of you may remember it. This car is documented as the car that Howdy Homes drove for the Wilbur Bunce Race team back in the early 70's. I still have the body and tail section with the original paint and number, with Howdy's name and "Wilbur Bunce Racing" on it. I have a letter from Howdy (now retired from Indy cars) stating that it was the car that he drove. Wilbur Bunce (still in business) also knows the car and told me he could dig up a number of programs, posters, etc. that show the car. I actually have two Lola chassis with ID, and the spares that Wilbur Bunce used for the entire 5 car team. I have dozens of wheels, brakes, rotors, carburetors (some brand new), cylinder heads, cylinders (even such crazy parts as unmachined camshafts), as well as another complete (although "illegal" 1800 or 2100 cc, I can't remember which) engine. Too many spares to list. Asking $15,000. 3. 1972 Pantera that I was converting to a drag car, however it was not far enough along that it can't be finished as a road racer. It was a rollover, and I have had the car completely "walnut shelled" to bare metal, the chassis straightened and all of the firewall forward sheet metal redone. It has a roll cage (although the planned tie-in to the rear suspension reinforcements is not complete). The car is setup for a 429-460 pro stock drag engine which I want to keep, but the engine plate mounts (front and rear block) and adapter to a ZF transaxle are included. The hood is fiberglass, a hand formed aluminum dash, race seat, and I have a complete rear "sheet metal" (firewall back) one-piece fiberglass body which I was planning to adapt as a lift-off for engine access. The car is titled and comes with a complete rear clip (in good condition except the rear deck lid is tweaked) to return the car to street use. Asking $12,000.
