As I mentioned, a former friend had a pre-L with a custom trailer hitch

integrated into the rear mount of his ZF. He was towing a Formula Super-Vee;

total weight of car & trailer was around 1500 lbs. If I needed to do such a

thing, I think I'd try to fasten the hitch to the rear cover of the ZF rather

than to the none-too-strong Pantera rear body. A nasty little design
