To Scott and All, The fender louvers you are thinking about installing on your car were an original factory installation on late ''70's Panteras. If you have seen the book "Detomaso Pantera" by Jan P. Norbye shows a GT5 frontal view with the vents in the fenders. I have only seen one Pantera in person with these vents on the fender tops. I liked the way they looked but my first reaction was that it must throw a lot of road grime up at the windshield. Also, it must spray water like a rooster tail out the vents when driven in the wet! I don't believe that they did anything to aid in cooling of the car unless they created some kind of "vacuum" effect when the tires were spinning. Hope this helps, Jim Demick ==============================================================================
