Dennis- I quote Carroll Smith in 'Prepare to Win': "Most race cars are designed with 2-1/2 to 4-1/2 degrees of positive castor. Not enough leads to very light steering & st. line instability. Too much makes the steering heavy, gives excessive wheel camber while (turning) and makes for slow response. Getting castor even from l. to rt is more important than getting it exact." Also, since everything affects everything else, when you adjust bump-steer or castor, be sure to realign the whole suspension again. This is one reason (along with giant front tires) why most real race cars now run power steering. See ya at Hearst's Castle!
