Sounds OK to me except you only need to jack up the rt rear- make the filler cap the highest point. And after doing all that you did, fill the tank to the brim, fill the overflow tank half full (or more) and drive the car a few miles, then let it cool down. Air sort of dissolves in water and you'll find a little air in the system after a good run. Be absolutely sure the rubber line from the fill tank overflow to the second catch tank is tight. What usually happens is, the engine gets hot & expands the water which goes into the second tank, but the hose or the cap do not seal good enough to allow the cool-down vacuum to pull the overflowed water back into the engine. After a few cycles of this, the engine is low on water & overheats. The tank neck is sized for a Euro cap- too deep. I had the neck on the #1 tank cut off & a U.S. neck soldered on. End of problem!
