Speaking of "street cred", my mind has a really hard time making the connection

between those wiiiide tires beneath a modern 'Vette or Viper with the plastic

jumble that sits beneath the hood in front of the driver.  Theres an engine there,

right?



No such problems in the Pantera.



Reminds me of an anecdote from 13 years ago.  I was giving a guided tour

of the Connection Machine, a super computer with 64,000 microprocessors

in parallel, when some 12-year-old brat in the back asked "Yeah, but can I

play donkey kong?".  Sigh.
