I have basically the same thing done to my car.  I ran it for a half hour at

Road America, about 8 laps and had no problems.  I did not really car for

the smell the brake pads made, but they did not fade but actually grabbed

better when hot. By the way, my brake fluid is Dot 3 and is about 7 years old.
